There is no doubt in my mind that the baby monitors I got for my birthday made my life so much more manageable. However, now that my baby is growing, moving a lot and all, I felt the need to have a video monitor so to check his movements and safety. Let me let you know that gadgets most of the time scare me because I do not find wires friendly. In most cases, my gadgets won’t work not because of malfunction but because I set it up wrongly. With this one, however, the installing was a breeze. I just turned on the camera, turned on the monitor and presto!! The camera is battery controlled doing it easy to move around and change position. It can be mounted directly to my baby’s crib, or can be placed in a magnetic base anywhere near the crib. Either way, I can get the best angle and position. Shall I need to use it longer, I can just plug it in. The digital wireless feature is perfect since it always gives strong signal in anywhere around the house. The monitor (parent unit) is battery operated and I bring it along with me at all time--when I go to the sofa, or prepare meals, or in the library. No difficulties whatsoever with interference even if it’s beside me when I am operating other appliances. It gives out a signal if the battery is nearing decreased supply so I can recharge it at once. Like the camera, I can also plug it in just in case I need to use it continuously. If the baby is already in deep sleep, I just put the video on standby mode (since there is nothing to monitor in his movements because he is sleeping). Once it detects that the baby is already awake by the sound and movement he makes, the monitor will turn on all by itself. Also, it has a lullaby feature and a night lamp so to help the baby soothe his mind when sleeping. I operate it without sneaking in inside the baby room because the control is in the parent unit. I love the night vision feature that lets me clearly see the baby even if his room is in low light. Lastly, this monitor assures every user that the audio and video output is kept private and there is no chance the neighbours are watching.

Overall, I never regretted buying this product. It made my life really simple and easy, especially that I am not just a single parent, but also schooling at that. I strongly recommend this brand to all mothers contemplating on getting a video monitor for their baby. This great product really gives me peace of mind. I highly recommend it.
