Wealth Building Strategies - Internet Marketing Vs. Traditional MLM

First off, these two wealth building strategies cover a whole lot more than a small list of pros and cons. A traditional MLM, if done correctly in the right environment, can be a very profitable strategy. And "Internet marketing" is so broad that 600 words aren't enough to demonstrate the capacity of an online presence. This is just the information that lead me to my decision.

Traditional MLM requires a lot of variables be in place for a person to build a home business with longevity. The idea is to build a downline that has two or three real rockstar distributors, that also have two or three stars below them. Traditional MLM's also typically have an inventory that you'll need to distribute to customers. Throwing home parties is your primary marketing platform. If you really love your products there can be some real enjoyment in getting some prospects together at your house and putting on a presentation.

Here's a real unattractive term that's associated in traditional MLM; "pitch and chase". If you really love rejection and losing all your friends, this one's for you. I seem to be a magnet to these "pitch and chase" guys. I've sat down with quite a few MLM'ers who use this system and got their whole presentation on a napkin. That triggered so much doubt in me, that I'd never join their team, even if it was a great opportunity. OR I would have been in that 97% of average failures that start and quit within a couple of months.

Internet Marketing can work with your traditional MLM but your operation becomes available on a much wider scope. On top of your paid marketing strategies, you'll have an endless number of marketing funnels to earn commissions from. There's a lot that keeps life interesting when you move to marketing on the internet.

Internet marketing as a stand alone strategy can also be a very lucrative option. Some offer no inventory you have to throw parties to sell; instead, they offer online products (access to training, affiliate marketing opportunities, & memberships). The training avaialble in some of those programs is so good that it's worth joining the company to receive! You'll still need to find a primary opportunity that you market for, but this becomes much easier when you have a list of existing customers and prospects built up through your online marketing strategies.

All in all, both can be extremely profitable, even in a down economy. The money is still out there, it is just changing hands. You need to put your money to good use for you. If you are reading this article then that means that you looking for news ways to build wealth besides investing in the stock market and 401K.. They don't teach this stuff in public schools. The only thing I remembered from my economics classes is how to balance a checkbook! What a wasted opportunity for our children. We can no longer rely on the wealth building strategies we learned from our parents to work for our future. I know, I fell into the credit trap. We all watched our house value plunge and our 401K get decimated as the economy tanked. It is time to take control of our own financial futures. Wall Street isn't going to look after us and neither is the government.

The network-marketing / MLM / internet marketing industry is thriving right now. There are tons of great multi level marketing opportunities available, from very high to very reasonable start-up costs. If implemented and marketed correctly they can be a great return on investment for LIFE!
