The Three Success Things To Know About Network Marketing

After making a long list of your friends and your family, throwing a few home meetings and going to your 47th hotel briefing, you're still frustrated. You're making less sales in Network Marketing than I went on dates in high school (and trust me, that's bad) - so what are you doing wrong? Haven't you given this ALL of your effort? And the gurus still aren't helping, are they?
There are 3 different ways you can approach making Network Marketing Sales.
The first thing to clear up is what you're selling - after all, it's hard to sell something if you don't understand what it is, no?
There are actually only three different products people sell in the MLM industry.
The first product that you can market in your business is your actual, tangible (or intangible) company product. Most Network Marketers do nothing in their business but promote their new 'MAGIC LOTION' to everyone they meet. Now I don't want you to misunderstand - I like magic lotion as much as the next guy. The term 'magic lotion' could be replaced with vitamins, pre-paid legal, travel, personal development, or whatever else you're selling.
The unfortunate thing about focusing your Network Marketing Sales on your company product is that you probably aren't having much success doing it. I know, there was that one guy who your friend Bill knew who knew a gal named Susan who had an uncle who got rich wearing a shirt that said 'I swam naked in algae' - but is it working for you?
'Selling' your opportunity is the second method of marketing your MLM business. As the famous Bill Britt says in Amway 'sell the dream'. The hardest thing to do in the whole world (although it does work, for that one guy we both heard about once) is to gather your friends into your home, pull out a white board, and convince them all they're going to get rich by joining you in your business.
It would be easier to send a manned mission to Mars... (Kidding) - Seriously - I'm not saying this as someone who hasn't been successful doing home meetings - I built an organization of over 1000 people in 6 months, part time doing nothing but home meetings and hotel meetings. Just being honest, though, it was a huge pain, and I hated it.
I had to give up church, friends, social gatherings, movie nights, you name it - all for the sake of 'the dream'... I couldn't even go on dates.
...I suppose I never dated much anyways, to be fair.
Yeah, I made a lot of money doing it - so what? I could make a lot of money working all day and night as a MD, too - and you know what? I would rather be poor and spend my nights with my wife.
So if you take away the products, and you take away the opportunity - what is there left to sell?
(Are you ready?)
YOU.
I know, I know - you haven't made the money yet - and all of your friends know you're broke. So what do you do?

Would you be so suprised, after all, to learn that you are in fact what so many people are looking for as a solution to their problems in life? And that there are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people who are just WAITING for you to stand up and be a leader?
Would it be so unbelievable if you could for once stop seeking a guru, and become the guru you seek?
Would it cause such a rift in your world view to learn that you can just let go of all of the training, courses, and books you've read, listened to, and attended over the years - and just be YOU?
When all is said and done - there is only one thing that you have to master to be a master of this profession - and that is...
...To Master Your Self.
