Smokers Runs Risk of Developing Lung Cancer

While age is not a factor it considers, most adults suffer tooth loss because of it. About 75% of adults would most likely acquire a gum disease sometime in their lives. To find out if you have periodontal gum disease, consult your dentist, who will only be able to detect it through careful periodontal examination.

Bleeding gums that occur while tooth brushing are telltale signs. Watch out also for red, swollen, or tender gums as well as gums that are separated from the teeth. If you press your gums and there's an infection, then that is also a sign. Teeth that are becoming loose or changing in position, any change in the way your teeth fit together when you bite, any change in the way your partial dentures fit.
