Logo Usb Pens - Three Techniques To Expand Their Use

By: Keith R Lunt

1. Load your product catalogue to your flash drives

Do you want to make certain that your product catalogue or product handbook gets to your audience? Then why not think about getting the catalogue loaded to your flash pens before you send them out?

One or two pointers here. First, change them to PDF format from whatever you already have them in before you save them. Why? Well not every computer can access word documents and worse still, the new docx system is not supported by a lot of pcs. But PDF format is supported by a lot of computer systems and distributing the document in PDF format looks so much more professional.

Next, you can also get the documents protected on the pen so that they cannot be deleted or overwritten. This means they will live forever on the pen and will always be at hand when your customers use the usb drive.

And do not be troubled about having to load a few thousand drives yourself - ask the company supplying them to do it for you!

2) Make the tool useful in more ways than one

There is no doubting that the usb pen is a useful device that can be used in many different ways, from backing up data to carrying important files around with you. But you can also make it more useful than it already is.

Get a lanyard or a keyring added to it so that the tool is easier to carry round. Or buy one that has a item such as a torch or laser pointer built in. There are a diversity of ways to make them more fun and useful, so have a look at these.

3) Get it formed to suit your desires

Are you expecting the pens to be carried around by your customers a lot? If so, then perhaps you should get them in a credit card size and shape so that they can straightforwardly be slipped into a wallet. Best of all, this gives plenty of eye catching space to print your logo on both sides of the device. So you get a tool that catches people’s attention whilst being so easy to carry about they will want it with them all of the time. A sure winner on the marketing front.

Or maybe you want a shape that compliments your logo or product. If your logo has a marked shape then you might like to have your drives shaped the same way, just a little larger than the projected print to allow a margin around the logo.

Or the shape can reflect your product, such as the array of ball shapes available, or wine bottles, lorries and so on. There are plenty of shapes on the market and you can without doubt invent your own to add to the collection!
