* An evident modification in comments at supper time "I'm not hungry","I've already eaten" or "I am full".

* Complaining about being cold, sporting extra garments even in heat conditions.

* Increase in susceptibility to injuries.

* Increase in signs of fatigue, restless sleep, decline in levels of concentration.

* Drop in blood pressure and heart rate.

Tips for Teens to Avoid Female Triad

* Keep a diary of your menstrual cycle. e.g. length of cycle, intensity of flow, any side effects experienced. All this information can be invaluable to your coach or specialist if in the future you expertise any issues with your cycle.

* Eat healthy and often, if you are unsure regarding your nutritional intake write down your diet for a least 2 weeks then offer the records to your coach or nutritionist so they will examine it. Any minor modification to your diet from a specialists might build a substantial improvement to your performances.
