Identify The Critical Success Factors That Make You Money

It is vital to keep track and identify why customers buy from you. Identifying the reason is a critical success factor for your online business. When you generate a sale and the customer buys from you or joins your team there is always a reason behind it. There was a reason why they chose you and not someone else. There will also be many other reasons why they bought what they did, but most of them have nothing to do with you, or your business, there will always be an underlying reason why they decided on you. That is important for you to know. In running a small business the critical success factors will be usually customer based.

You need to focus on the activities which your customers think are critical factors the moment they decided deal with you.

Do you ask them why they bought? In the past in other companies I had surveys taking place on a consistent basis to find why they came to my business, what attracted them to it, what did they like about it and what did they not like about it. The surveys were done and we never knew who completed them, as only if they wanted us to contact them would they leave a name or number. But they worked and we knew the business was on track.

There will always be a pattern to your customers purchasing cycles and habits. There will be only 2 or 3 main critical factors why it was you they opted for.

By knowing what your customers really want you will be able to fine-tune your business accordingly. With online marketing it may be your advertising method, it could be your videos, or your articles that they associated with.

People tend to believe that the reasons are complicated as to why things happen, but almost always the real reason is very basic. In terms of your online business it could be your rankings on their google search, or they read some of your articles and could identify with you. They love to buy but they hate to be sold. They join or but a product normally because of the person behind that product or service rather than the company itself. On the internet building trust is one of your top priorities, and the more you coverage you have the more trust in your business you can develop.

Knowing the reasons why people buy from you can go far in knowing what marketing campaign is working for you and where you should be placing your attention more to. The best way to identify the critical success factors that make you money is simply to ask your customer, the answer can sometimes be a surprise.
