How to Be Coachable in MLM

Are you coachable? No really. Do you allow people to give you constructive criticism without getting offended easily? Being coachable is extremely important when participating in MLM.

People that build huge network marketing teams have to learn to let some things just roll off. As you become the leader for your team you will learn to have thick skin and cut your own niche from the interwoven MLM industry fabric.

In the process of becoming a leader you should track everything you do. To maximize your success tracking is critical to see where you need to be spending your time. Your tracking system doesn't have to be elaborate. It can be as simple as using sticky notes or list. Just make sure you are using something to track your results and actions.

You need to have clear intentions when you start to coach other people. Find out their biggest problem. Give them instruction on how to overcome that problem with a methodical approach that helps them to keep things simplified so they don't get distracted from their goal.

Another coachable tip I can give you is teach your team not to whine. When you whine is makes you appear to be weak. No one wants to work with someone that is weak. If you find yourself whining alot you need to stop doing it immediately. Whining will only turn people off from you. People cannot get to know the real you when you whine.

Teach your team to follow through and complete all assignments that they are given. This will reveal if you are truly coachable. When you follow through with your goals you will be able to create bigger goals for yourself later down the road.

The biggest thing you can do to prove that you have mastered the techniques of being coachable is to teach someone else how to become coachable. I will never forget in middle school. I made the basketball team and we were having practice. The next day our coach was giving us a pep talk to help get us to the next level. He told everybody in the room that if all the guys on the team would practice like Perkins then we would win every single game. I will never forget that.

If you want to become the leader for your team or company then practice more than everybody else. Give it your all and never look back.
