For A Surge In Clients To Help Your New Business, Use Fax Marketing

I have worked for an estate agent for four years now. My job is to take telephone calls from prospective buyers and arrange appointments for them to view property they are interested in. I have always wanted to run my own business and felt assured I knew all aspects of buying and selling property.

Fortunately an opportunity arose for me to begin my own business. I quickly searched for the right location and soon found the premises I was looking for. I purchased suitable offices and furnished them out accordingly. My partner and I were in this for the long term. In just a few months we were ready for the big day and had employed two additional members of staff who had a background in buying and selling properties.

We were aware that unfortunately we wouldn’t attract much passing business. What could be performed to remedy this? I had read about fax marketing and was certain it was similar to telemarketing, so we purchased a new fax machine. We were confident that trying this type of advertising was a good idea to attract a lot of new consumers. Our business aim was obviously to establish a firm customer base.

We had a business design. Put simply the idea was to create an informative leaflet which had eye-catching advertising slogans. We put this to the test and hoped that everything would work out, not just another white elephant. Soon we began creating a spreadsheet of potential clients along with their fax numbers. The team remained extremely positive hoping that everything would be a success.

There actually was no need to worry. After a few hiccups to start with, we realised this was the way forward albeit knowing there were more up-to-date ways to advertise. It was totally successful from the start, effective and most important of all, reasonably cheap for us. Reading up on the laws of fax marketing we had to take care not to send advertisements to any numbers registered with the Fax Preference Service. We adhered to this rule diligently.

The business soon took off and in a short time customers began to make contact. We felt that investing in an independent estate agent business had been the right thing to do. Advertising by fax marketing provides opportunities that other advertising methods do not. It isn’t complicated and is simple to carry out, having such benefits as being very economical, versatile and of course the human touch.

New types of fax machines are developed to carry out lots of tasks. All we had to do was make certain we bought one that could handle brochures, leaflets and pamphlets. We liked the fact we could handwrite a note to a prospective customer, adding that personal touch to our services.

So for any prospective business people out there, if you own a company or are just starting up, I would strongly recommend using fax marketing as a first step to making progress. It certainly works for us!

If you are looking at new forms of drumming up new business, it's well worth considering fax marketing. Its cheap, quick and does produce results. The alternative is the ever popular email marketing method. Seen as more professional and offering a better return, it does offer success but with so many people going down that route, maybe consider fax marketing as a viable alternative.
