A liner can catch all the debris that falls to the bottom and is easily removed for regular cleaning.

Cleaning the cage frequently is very important. Pet birds are going to make a mess. They have a tendency to throw and scatter food, water and whatever else they can get their beaks on. Cleaning on a regular basis will prevent the buildup of foul smelling producing waste. A clean cage means less smell along with a more enjoyable experience for the family.
