Chronic Yeast Infection Need To Be Cured From The Root Cause

By: Stephanie King

Recurrent yeast infections are now a problem for 5% of women worldwide. The more modern the country you come from then you have a greater chance of suffering from them as it's modern drugs that are becoming the major cause.
Your body's natural ability to fight infection is weakened when you use drugs and medicines, and your body's natural chemical and bacterial balance is upset. This cause your body to become a great place for fungus to thrive, and this leads to chronic Candida.
It's the Candida that lives in your body that mutates into an infection causing fungus. We all have the Candida yeast in us, but in a healthy, infection free person, the yeast is kept under control by the body's natural defenses. If your defenses have been compromised then the yeast can grow in numbers, and then it will mutate into an aggressive fungus that causes your symptoms.
The biggest cause of recurrent yeast infection is antibiotics use because this anti-bacterial drug kills friendly bacteria. You have a natural bacterial balance in your body, and when this gets upset, things start to happen that will begin to destroy your health. The most common of them is Candida overgrowth.
Antibiotics are prescribed when you have bacteria in your body that needs to be killed off. Apart from the bacteria causing the infection being killed, so are the friendly bacteria that live in your body. That are protecting you every day from Candida and other organisms. When your beneficial bacteria has been killed off then the Candida can do what it wants to do, and that's breed and mutate.
Yeast infection become recurrent when you use a treatment that only treats the external symptoms because the Candida can still mutate after the treatment has stopped. To cure your infection you need to treat the cause, and this then stops the Candida from mutating when your treatment has finished.
When you keep using the same treatment on your recurrent yeast infections the treatment you're using can become part of the problem. When the fungus is continually exposed to the same anti fungal drug it then becomes resistant. This means that the fungus mutates every time you use the same anti fungal drug, and it just mutates into a stronger strain that becomes harder to treat.
You will only successfully cure your infection when you start treating it from the root cause.
