About Gloria James

Gloria James was sixteen years old when she had her only son, LeBron. Lebron's father abandone the two of them and she ended up raising them alone. The fact that Gloria struggled to raise Lebron is well documented. Her own mother died when Lebron was very young.
It was not easy for Gloria to keep and job and provide for her family. Lebron and Gloria moved from place to place trying to survive. Most of the time, the places that they lived were not the best places in town. Honestly, they lived in some hard neighborhoods.

It is easy to see that the two of them grew close in the early days. Gloria is present at most of his games and wears a jersey that says Lebron's mom. At the same time, he has her tatooed on his person. She was both mother and father to him and it is easy to see how they became so close.

Lately there has been a lot of buzz about Gloria and LeBron’s team mate Delonte West having an affair. It really looked bad when the Cavaliers lost in the playoffs and Lebron did not play his best basketball.The rumor is that everyone knew except for LeBron. The word is that he found out before the fourth game when they were playing against Boston.
I would have been upset too if someone told me that my mom and a good friend were sleeping together. It’s not like NBA players don’t already have their picks of some of the most beautiful women in the world. I don't know how true it is, but I have heard that players sleep with each others wives.I would bet that most of them would rather a player sleep with their wife rather than their mother. The last that I heard though, LeBron’s lawyers had put out an official statement saying that this was not true and notifying everyone to stop spreading the rumor.

One must wonder if this played a part in LeBron's decision to move to Miami and becomea part of the new super team. I have to think that he would much rather be in Miami at this point. I can't imagine the chemistry on that team being very good any more.

This incident makes me think of the Super Bowl commercial by Doritos from 2010. If you tell the truth, you never saw that coming. I know I didn’t. The little man took charge and put his foot down and surprised everyone. It made you want to call up your friends and tell them about it.

On the web, these are two examples of what going viral means. Both times, the word was spread fast. Once one person got a hold of it, they had to share it with someone else and on and on.
